THE SHOW “A TRIBUTE TO ABBA” IS COMING TO BULGARIA FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME
THE ABBA SHOW will visit Bulgaria for the very first time with a magnificent concert at Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture, Sofia. On the 29th of September, Saturday, the Bulgarian audience will have the unique chance to experience the magic of the Scandinavian group in an unforgettable live performance. The show is dedicated to the 45-years-long music history of ABBA.
With more than 700 concerts in 40 countries and more than 2 000 000 sold tickets all over the word, THE ABBA SHOW has been fascinating thousands of people who love and admire the legendary pop group. The show owes its success to the combination of modern day technology and lighting, and that fantastic sound ABBA have been so well known for.
The music in THE SHOW is played by the Swedish band Waterloo and backed by The National Symphony Orchestra of London, under the baton of musical director Matthew Freeman. They have performed with big stars such as Elvis Costello, Robbie Williams, and Sir Cliff Richard.
To further add that original touch to THE SHOW, several of the original ABBA musicians appear as guest performers in THE SHOW, something that is unique to this tribute to ABBA. Audiences can look forward to seeing the legendary saxophone player Ulf Andersson who toured with the original ABBA line-up and co-wrote the hit song I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do with original ABBA member Benny Andersson.
